What’s the difference between DLP and SLA resin?
Dental resins are largely formulated for one technology or the other, depending on the printer’s light engine. All resins in this guide are formulated for Asiga’s DLP printers.
Are these resins biocompatible?
Categories used intraorally (guides, splints, temporaries, permanent restorations, trays) are certified biocompatible per their manufacturer, with CE Class I/IIa ratings where applicable. Bench-only resins (models, casting patterns) are not intended for intraoral use.
How long does an opened bottle of resin last?
This varies by resin chemistry and storage conditions. Check the technical data sheet for your specific product, and store resin away from UV light and heat.
